I was worried this stool would not hold my brother when we go dove hunting. He's a big boy. The weight rating states 275. He is around 330, and I knew he'd be using my stool when we hunted. It held up just fine, and he bought one himself the next day. Usually he's hesitant to buy chairs because of his weight. This one holds up. Highly recommend it to big fellas.
