SKU 1820014 - The Chapin 8701B Garden Seeder takes the back strain out of garden planting. Designed with a durable powder-coated steel frame, poly seed hopper, 6 interchangeable seed plates that accommodate 20 seed types and a wide rear wheel that replaces and pats the soil, the seeder plows and places the seeds at the appropriate intervals without jamming. Also featuring an adjustable row marker you can set and follow for the correct spacing of the next row. In properly cultivated soil, the seeder easily plows, plants covers and pats the soil over with each pass.

Same price everywhere I lookedI'm semi-new to buying stuff from the internet, so maybe that should be said. I ordered this from here from my sofa! It arrived in great condition, two days after I ordered it. I've used seeders for my gardens since the 70's. I only replaced my old one because some SOB stole it. Very happy with the item, and the service I got from Farm & Home Supply. Thought I should try a review out.

Chapin is well builtI almost bought last year's model, but this year Farm & Home Supply carries the Chapin version. It looks so much heavier and better built than last year's model. Glad I waited! I bought this today from the website, after looking at it twice in the store.

Great qualityI haven't used this yet, its been too wet with all the rain. But this is a much better seeder than the one I replaced. I'm hoping to get my garden in this week.

Lasts for yearsI have a fairly large garden, and I've used one of these for years. I moved and lost my old garden seeder, so I bought a new one this year. The new one operates just like my old one, a testament to the long lasting quality of the build.
