First time buyer of a pumper of sumpsI don't have anything to compare this to, as I mentioned this is my first sump pump. But, I feel like this thing works its butt off pumping rain water away from my basement. and I appreciate that!

Second time buying this exact pumpI have a few rental properties on Lake Superior. During the spring thaw we get a lot of rain and drainage and everyone's basements fill with water here. I bought one of these from my local Ace dealer and paid $40 more for it. I was very happy with the pump, so I wanted another and searched for it on the web. Bought it here and saved a lot of money. Came to my rental house door two days after I placed my order. Very happy.

Really well built, and reliableI bought this with the last run of heavy rains for a replacement pump in my basement. The old model was still running, but I bought this to replace it before it died. My old unit was NOT stainless steel and it was only 1/2hp. This one is 1hp and ss. So, I upgraded to make sure I had plenty of pumping power to handle the spring rains.

Buy the stainless versionI've used sump pumps for many years, and I know the difference between the entry level plastic housing units and the quality stainless steel units. I won't waste money on the cheap units. I bought this stainless pump because I'm using it in a spot where it is hard to get to, and it will need to last for many years. Wayne makes a great pump.
