GREAT CHAINSAWBOUGHT THIS IN MID MAY FOR RESIDENTIAL USE. THE SALESMAN WAS REALLY HELPFUL AND WENT OVER THE SAW WITH ME. IT IS MY FIRST GASOLINE POWERED SAW. I USED IT ON A TREE THAT FELL IN MY YARD AND IT TOOK VERY LITTLE TIME TO CUT IT UP. IT IS VERY LIGHT AND EASY TO START AND USE.

Great sawReccomended 16” chain. Tackles light to heavy limbs and trees up to 12”. Great saw to keep in side by side on farm. It’s light weight/power makes it the first one grabbed. Heavy 25” saw good for big jobs but too heavy for light work, walking through woods with saw, most small trees. Keep the gas fresh and tank drained out off season and saw will start every time. Smaller saw needs smaller gauge chain so I always keep 3-4 spare sharp chains with the saw

Good little sawMy main saw is my trusty old Stihl 440. For 20 years, I've wanted a small, lightweight saw for limbs and smaller trees. I finally got one- an MS170...and love it! Lightweight, powerful, just the right size.
